Find answers to common question about TPETI.
The Phygital Entrepreneur Training Institute (TPETI) is an organization focused on studying, developing, and sharing ideas that help entrepreneurs succeed in an increasingly consumer-demanding digital marketplace. TPETI explores how technology can make customer acquisition easier and more efficient while purposeful human interaction can strengthen relationships, create additional value, and increase customer lifetime value.
A Phygital environment exists when consumers demand frictionless or self-service acquisition options but still maintain an expectation of human interaction if they want it. Phygital then, describes the intentional combination of physical human interaction and digital technology.
The best place to start is our online TPETI presentation, which provides an overview of the Institute, Membership, Employment opportunities, research activities, and available employee benefits. You may also submit a question through the Contact Us section of TPETI.com.
If you use digital tools to attract, acquire, communicate with, or serve customers while also relying on your personal expertise, relationships, judgment, or interaction to create additional customer value, you are already operating in a Phygital environment.
For Phygital Entrepreneurs, it means using technology where it creates speed, convenience, and efficiency while using personal expertise, relationships, and human interaction where they create greater value.
TPETI is particularly interested in entrepreneurs who want to better understand how technology and human capability can work together rather than viewing one as a replacement for the other.
Membership is intended for entrepreneurs and professionals who meet TPETI's eligibility and industry-verification requirements and have an interest in the Institute's research, education, thought leadership, and entrepreneurial activities. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. TPETI reviews each application before offering Membership.
If you are interested in learning more about membership you can review the video provided below.
Individuals who meet TPETI's employment qualifications may apply for available TPETI employment opportunities.
Employment and Membership are separate relationships. Employment is offered only after the application and review process has been completed and TPETI determines that the applicant satisfies the requirements of the position.
If you are interested in learning more about employment you can review the video provided below.
If your organization requires you to disclose or obtain approval for an Outside Business Activity (OBA), you are responsible for complying with those requirements.
TPETI is not affiliated with any other company or institution. However, our administration worked closely with compliance officers and senior executives at a major insurance and financial services organization to develop a consistent, formulaic description of the TPETI relationship for OBA submissions.
When completing your OBA request, we strongly encourage you to use the TPETI-provided description exactly as written, allowing compliance personnel to quickly recognize and resolve your approval.
You can copy and submit this statement verbatim to your compliance officer. Download the OBA Statement
No. Membership and Employment are separate relationships with TPETI. Membership provides access to TPETI's activities, research, thought leadership, and other Member opportunities. Employment involves performing defined work for TPETI and is governed by separate employment documents and requirements.
TPETI employees contribute to the Institute's research, education, and thought leadership activities through Field Research.
TPETI is interested in employing Phygital Entrepreneurs who are immersed in the rapidly evolving environments we are accumulating research on. Field Researchers can contribute ideas and observations, assist with entrepreneurial initiatives, support TPETI publications or educational content, and help identify other qualified individuals who may benefit from TPETI membership. Specific responsibilities are outlined in the applicable employment documents.
TPETI positions are designed to involve a limited and clearly defined commitment of time. The specific expectations and responsibilities for each position are described in the applicable employment documents. Employees remain responsible for ensuring that their TPETI activities are compatible with any obligations they have to other businesses, employers, licensing organizations, or contracting companies.
Yes. Eligible TPETI employees may have access to group employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, subject to the eligibility requirements, enrollment provisions, and terms of the applicable benefit plans. Benefits are provided as an employment benefit and are separate from TPETI Membership.
If you are interested in learning more you can review the available benefits options in the video provided below.
Eligible employees may be able to enroll qualifying spouses and dependents in available employee benefit plans, subject to the eligibility rules, enrollment requirements, and terms of each plan.
Coverage options and costs may vary depending upon the benefit selected and the individuals being enrolled.
After you submit the required information, TPETI reviews your application and eligibility. If you are approved to move forward, you will receive the applicable Membership and Employment documents for review and signature. After the required documents are completed and accepted, TPETI may issue an Employment Offer.
Following acceptance of an Employment Offer, eligible employees will receive electronic instructions for Membership enrollment, payroll activation, and employee benefit enrollment.
